So the creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, Shinichiro Watanabe, is joining forces with Yoko Kanno, the lady who helped create the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop, again to create a new anime. Sakamichi no Apollon is based in the 1960’s about two boys growing up and their passion for jazz music.
I loved the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop and enjoyed the story line as well. I also loved Samurai Champloo. I might actually begin watching anime again just for this.
Oh and ironically it is also after 13 years.
