So the creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, Shinichiro Watanabe, is joining forces with Yoko Kanno, the lady who helped create the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop, again to create a new anime.  Sakamichi no Apollon is based in the 1960’s about two boys growing up and their passion for jazz music.

I loved the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop and enjoyed the story line as well.  I also loved Samurai Champloo.  I might actually begin watching anime again just for this.

Oh and ironically it is also after 13 years.

Ben Folds Five Reunite After 13 Years to Create New Album

So Ben Folds Five is reuniting to create a new album after being apart for 13 years.

Ironically I started listening to my Ben Folds Pandora station these last few days.  I do love me some Ben Folds solo, but back together, I can imagine an amazing record.
